We met our client through a word-of-mouth referral from an existing Abacus user. He is a professional investor whose game is twofold: sourcing deals for his own personal investment and finding investors for the deals he originates. He holds public equities and many individual investments across companies and real estate.
Problem
Tracking was done in Excel—far from ideal. Beyond that, he wanted access to a broader network to share deal flow and hear what other sophisticated investors were doing.
